Uses :
The active substance effective on bacteria, fungi, yeasts and
algae and used in many slimicides for water systems (WPSREG 
1993).
 
Way to effect :
The toxic effect on the substance is probably based on reaction
with cell wall proteins and on inactivation of the enzyme
system (WPSREG 1993).
